How an economy grows, Schiff senior edition

This is the fish book about the inner workings of an advanced economy that Peter Schiff grew up on. It was written by his father, Irwin Schiff. Schiff junior (Peter) has later adapted, modernized and improved on his father's book.

I can not recommend a book more than I do Peter Schiff's "How An Economy Grows...". It's immensely important, always relevant and not least easy to read and entertaining. The portraits of Ben Barnacle and Ally Greenfin are hilarious. Other fishy characters like George Bass are fun too.

Just get out there and read it as soon as you can, or put it in the hands of a friend or your children or siblings. Spread the word; the more people who understands the basics of savings, investments, capital, productivity, growth and wealth the better.

  1. I would like to read this soon.

    PS:
I wonder who the character Ally Greenfin might be based on.

    1. I can (all but) promise you, you'll like it at least as much as "The Most Important Thing" by Howard Marks
